Scott M. Stevenson joined the Broadband Association of Michigan as its government policy director in January, 1993.  In 1997, he was named vice president-government policy and in March 1998, he was named president. 

Scott brought a broad range of experience in both the State Senate and the House of Representatives.  He was chief of staff for State Senator Jon Cisky, and worked for the Senate Majority Caucus Services staff and for Speaker of the House Paul Hillegonds as a special assistant.

Scott was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Michigan Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board of Directors in 2005 and was reappointed in 2007.  In 2006, he was appointed to the Michigan Relay Center Board of Directors by the Department of Labor and Economic Growth. Scott served as Chairman of the National Council of State Telephone Association Executives in 2004-2005.

Originally from Clarkston, Michigan, Scott received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Policy Analysis from Michigan State University.
